With the advent of the WWW, many of these games can now be offered for sale or for free over the Web in "virtual" form. In other words, you get a PDF file that contains all the board, cards, and all the rules in a printable format that you simply print out on your own printer.

Similarly, Pax Entertainment will offer virtual books on-line. For about a third the price of a physical book, you are sent a PDF file of the book you purchase. You can either read it on your computer screen or print it out.
